By midix » Fri Feb 16, 2018 1:14 pm I'm a hobbyist, creating electronic ambient, new age, epic kinds of music (VSTi instruments mostly, no live audio, no samples) to express myself and to share it with friends. When comparing Cubase 10.5 vs FL Studio, the Slant community recommends FL Studio for most people. In the question 'What are the best DAWs for beginners?' FL Studio is ranked 1st while Cubase 10.5 is ranked 2nd. Cubase is an excellent program. I just upgraded to Cubase 6 from 5. I have been using the Studio One Demo for a week. It is a really great DAW and I had it in my cart all week, however unfortunately (for me and Presonus) I have been unable to reach tech support for my pre-sale questions so I made the choice to upgrade my current DAW instead. Unfortunately Melodyne isn't included in the demo.
